About Garmin-Asus
Garmin-Asus is a brand that was founded in 2009 by the partnership of Garmin Ltd, a US-based GPS device specialist, and Asus (ASUSTeK Computer Incorporated), a Taiwan-based producer of laptops, servers and mobile phones. Garmin Ltd. was founded in 1989 by Gary Burrell and Min Kao and has a key focus today on the developing of consumer, aviation, and marine technologies for the Global Positioning System (GPS). The company operates in the UK, USA, Taiwan, Belgium, Canada, Norway and Spain, amongst others. The first offering from Garmin-Asus was the Garmin-Asus nüvifone G60, a location-specific cellular phone. Since then, a few phones have been issued, including the A10 smartphone, which combines the Android™ platform with Garmin's trademark GPS technology and incorporates Google Voice Search.
